Here's The 411 On Solar Panels!

Welcome! Here's a quick run-down on what you will find on our site --

INSTALLING RESIDENTIAL SOLAR PANELS

Residential solar panels save major money on the energy bill, and installing them doesn't have to be difficult or expensive. This short guide explains the importance of southern exposure as well as selling back unused energy.

HOMEMADE SOLAR PANELS

With the growing popularity of solar energy, many individuals are taking on the challenge of making homemade solar panels. However, with the availability of solar panel kits, the task does not have to be a challenging one at all. Additional equipment like an inverter and battery back-up will be required.

SOLAR PANELS FOR RV

Energy conservation isn't just for the home! The kits for RV solar panels include everything needed and are relatively inexpensive and simple to install compared to residential kits. Having a fully-solar-powered RV will be more convenient, efficient, and environmentally friendly.

SOLAR REBATES

The government is more conscious than ever of the need to conserve our planet, and they want to pay you for doing your part! Tax credits and rebates are offered in many states for individuals that install solar panels. Save money and help the environment -- at the same time -- with solar energy rebates.

POOL SOLAR PANEL

Heated pools don't have to be a luxury for only the rich. Pool solar panels can replace the need for electricity to heat a pool. In fact, heating swimming pools is the number one use for solar power in the nation today! Why not enjoy luxury while you take a relaxing swim?

PHOTOVOLTAIC SOLAR PANEL

This technology converts photons into usable electricity, providing the potential for endless energy. Understanding how photovoltaic solar panels work -- and how to make them work properly -- is essential for anyone working with solar power systems.

SOLAR PANEL CHARGER

Solar power to go, please! Who doesn't carry an endless supply of portable devices that require energy? Cell phones, iPods, laptops, mp3 players, and the list goes on. With them comes the endless search for a plug-in or cigarette lighter to re-juice these devices of convenience. A solar panel charger is a portable source of solar energy - making the recharging source as portable as the device it's charging.

SOLAR POOL HEATER

A little more high-tech than pool solar panels, a solar pool heater should be installed with the help of a thermal systems contractor. Though it may be pricier initially, this type of system will likely last twenty years. Additionally, these systems can serve as a back-up to power a home in the case of a power outage.

PORTABLE SOLAR PANEL

These portable solar panels are ideal for anyone who will be away from a main power source for an extended period. Campers, hikers, boaters and travelers of any kind can benefit from this portable source of solar energy as it does not need to be permanently installed anywhere.

I'm new to the solar panel thing but I've of course heard of them. I started looking them up when I saw a commercial on tv for "green peace" and they were talking about how if every home in america had a solar panel on it it could provide electricity for the world for 10 years, I find that amazing. This site has some intriguing information on solar panels
